Scientific calculator online
This scientific calculator handles, in addition to basic arithmetic, trigonometry, logarithms, powers, roots and the factorial. Write the whole expression at once — the calculator follows the order of operations and shows the result in real time. You can switch between degrees and radians and store intermediate results in memory.

বিনামূল্যে · নিবন্ধন ছাড়াইHow to use the scientific calculator
- Write the expression. Type in the numbers and functions, for example
sin(30)+2^3. Brackets and functions are found on the keypad. - Choose degrees or radians. The DEG/RAD button switches the angle unit. Trigonometric functions use the selected unit.
- See the result. The answer updates immediately below the expression. = saves the calculation to the history.
- Make use of the memory. M+ adds the result to memory, MR recalls it and MC clears it. Ans brings the previous answer into a new calculation.
What functions does the calculator have?
The calculator supports the four basic operations as well as a wide range of scientific functions. From trigonometry, it includes sin, cos and tan as well as their inverse functions arcsin, arccos and arctan. Of the logarithms, the natural logarithm ln, the base-ten one log and the base-two log₂ are available. Powers are written with a caret (^), and the square root, cube root and factorial (n!) are available directly from the keypad.
Of the constants, pi (π) and Euler's number e are available. The calculator also understands implicit multiplication, so 2π and 3(4+1) work as expected. If the expression is invalid — for example, the brackets are unbalanced — the calculator reports the error clearly in words instead of showing just an E symbol.

Casio, TI ja muut mallit
Many people look online for a substitute for a physical model calculator, such as Casio or Texas Instruments devices. This online calculator covers the same most common scientific functions needed at school and in studies, but it is not the official product of any device manufacturer and does not imitate the key layout of a particular model. If a specific physical calculator is required in an exam, always check your institution's instructions — the online calculator is best suited to practice, homework and quick checks.
Example: a combined expression step by step
Let's take the expression 2·sin(30°) + √16 / 2^2 and calculate it according to the order of operations. First the functions and powers: sin(30°) = 0.5, √16 = 4 and 2² = 4. Then the multiplication and division: 2 · 0.5 = 1 and 4 / 4 = 1. Finally the addition: 1 + 1 = 2. The calculator applies the same order automatically, so you can write the whole expression at once and check the steps in your head.
The same order of operations applies to more complex expressions too. If you want to force a particular order, use brackets: (2+3)·4 gives 20, whereas 2+3·4 gives 14. Brackets can be nested freely, and the calculator reports if the number of opening and closing brackets is not equal.
Yleisiä virhetilanteita
The most common mistake is the angle unit: if you expect sin(30) to be 0.5 but get 0.988, the calculator is in radian mode. Another common stumbling block is the power of a negative number — -3^2 is interpreted as −(3²) = −9, whereas (-3)^2 = 9. The third is division by zero, which is undefined and which the calculator reports separately. Once you recognise these situations, the results are reliable.
Verkkolaskin fyysisen laskimen rinnalla
The physical pocket calculator has served students and engineers for decades, and its key layout is familiar to many by heart. The online calculator does not replace it in every situation, but it brings advantages the device does not have: the whole expression is shown on a line, the history is kept and the result can be copied straight elsewhere. When the device is left at home or the batteries run out, a browser-based calculator is always available on any connected device.
In practice, many combine both: a physical calculator in exams where it is allowed, and the online calculator for homework, checks and quick calculations at work. Because this calculator shows the intermediate steps and interprets the expression clearly, it is especially well suited to learning, where you want to understand how the answer arises — not just see the final result.

Juuri sopiva korvaaja koulun laskimelle kotitehtäviin. Trigonometria ja logaritmit toimivat moitteetta.
I like that the whole calculation is shown on a line and the history can be opened. Fast on the phone too.
